[Gusty] Random crash/ freeze need to reboot

Bug Description
Running Compiz-fusion to "extreme" (using most animation "random). Ubuntu random freezes.
I need to reboot (manually turning my pc of (macbook)). Mouse still work (moving not clicking) but the whole desktop is frozen.
Configuration: Gusty ( october downloaded).
Macbook 1st generation.
1.83 GHz core duo
1 GB ram

The 18 month support period for Gutsy Gibbon 7.10 has reached its end of life - www.ubuntu. com/news/ ubuntu- 7.10-eol . As a result, we are closing the modules- 2.6.22 task.
