Bug Description

Binary package hint: xubuntu-default-settings

The running mouse seems to have been removed for some reason in Gutsy Xubuntu. It should be in /usr/lib/xfce4/splash/engines/ as libxubuntu.so but is currently missing...

Thanks!

Francisco

Hi,

Thanks for your bug report.
As far as I know, this was removed during feisty development cycle since it slowed down the desktop loading.

Cody : we still have bug 149004 so it's not safe to re-enable the splash screen...

Jérôme Guelfucci: The session splash is not re-enabled. I've simply added the Xubuntu splash screen to the package again.

Furthermore, did anyone push that bug upstream?
