Bug Description
Scrolling through the calendar it happens frequently that accidental events are created. Those event have to be deleted by opening them, tapping on the delete button and confirming. Perhaps a single tap should just select an area and a second tap on that area creates the event? IMO that wouldn't be too much to tap twice for creating an event. Also gives a choice to verify the selection before actually modifying the calendar.

UX Comment:
It would appear this problem is caused by new events being created on a tap, rather than the intended long-press:
I recommend we remove 'tap to create event' and implement the intended 'long press to create an event' behaviour.

I totally agree here, current implementation is a little bit weird since user creates default event during scrolling in weekly view at times ,especially on device.
Good idea is do it when pressOnHold is triggered.
Need to discuss with team.
