Bug Description

The various bits of profile data are flushed periodically, but if an application goes in to the background and is then killed, any data that hasn't been flushed will be lost.

We really should to this when the application goes in to the background

Would that bug explain why when testing 1.7.8 on my krillin, completing a number of levels in the Cut The Rope game wasn’t remembered after exiting the application and launching it again?

Note, if you leave it running for long enough after you've finished playing it, it saves the state. So that would suggest it's the same issue

This issue persist in OTA5.
I'm using GPS Navigation app.
I'm saving a position, kill the app and the position some times doesn't exist.
Best regards!
