Bug Description

For the desktop mode, it would be very convenient if the same shortcuts from the gnome-terminal work here. I just write here all the shortcuts that I see in the menus of gnome-terminal:

Open Termianl: Shift+Ctrl+N (this may not make sense in mobile, but it does on the desktop)
Open Tab: Shift+Ctrl+T
Close Tab: Shift+Ctrl+W
Close Window: Shift+Ctrl+Q

Copy: Shift+Ctrl+C (why not also Ctrl+C ?)
Paste: Shift+Ctrl+V (why not also Ctrl+V ?)

Fullscreen: F11
Zoom In: Ctrl++
Zoom Out: Ctrl+-
Normal Size: Ctrl+0

Find...: Shift+Ctrl+F (why not also Ctrl+F ?)
Find Next: Shift+Ctrl+H (why not also Ctrl+H ?)
Find Previous: Shift+Ctrl+G (why not also Ctrl+G ?)

Some of these are already possible. I'll delete them from the list.

Another shortcut that I find quite useful is the one to switch between tabs: Ctrl+PgUp or Ctrl+PgDown. Would it make sense to implement it to complement the Open Tab and Close Tab ones?

@dpm Definitely it makes sense. I heavily use Ctrl+PgUp or Ctrl+PgDown to switch between tabs.

What about the shortcuts below:

Ctrl+D: Close Tab (if there are multiple tabs) / Close Window (if there is only one tab) / Log out
 Ctrl+Z: Send job to background
Ctrl+C: halt the current foreground process

Are they shortcuts that need to be added, or they are genuine Unix commands that are already effective?

They work on every linux system, so they also work in the terminal. (Ctrl+D was indirectly enabled in the linked merge proposal.)
