Bug Description
Binary package hint: compiz
Since a recent update, elements that used to be created using the fade animation (tooltips, drop-down lists...) have started using glide. This is way too gaudy, and should be reverted.
A couple examples are:
-Open Pidgin and hover the cursor over a contact. Watch how the tooltip appears.
-Open Epiphany and start typing something in the URL bar. See how the dropdown list appears.
