The install doc:

It says:
"If you are interested in testing the latest development version you can also check out the very latest source and build MAAS yourself."
It does not link to the source or tell you how to get the source. Linking to the devel ppa, at least in a footnote, would be helpful. Note that the about documentation page, in the "getting it" section, also tells you that if you have the latest from source then you have the latest documentation. Without telling you how to, you know, get it.
