"Malformed expression" after converting from decimal to hex

Bug Description

After converting a number from decimal to hex, "Malformed expression" is displayed when Enter is pressed.

[Test Case]

1. In Programming mode, choose Decimal
2. Type a number and press Enter
3. Choose Hexadecimal to convert the number
4. Press Enter
5. "Malformed expression" is shown

1. Start calculator
2. Switch to Decimal
3. Type in 4+7 and press Enter
4. Result shown: 11
5. Switch to Hexadecimal
6. Result shown: B
7. Type in +3 (in addition to the existing shown B)
8. Press Enter
9. "Malformed expression" is shown

works fine with the sru version to utopic as well, do you get the issue every time? what number do you use?

sorry, I didn't do "enter" after the conversion, I can confirm that and know how to fix it....

Does this happen with the version of the package in Trusty that is not in -proposed? If that is the case then the regression-proposed tag should be removed.

This doesn't happen with 1:3.10.2-0ubuntu1.2 in trusty-updates.

https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=728933 looks like the same bug, and the test case there also reproduces the issue.
