Bug Description

The links to the four sub-sections of 'Installing a single package file' all jump back to the start of the text instead of the sub-sections.

Gutsy with Yelp 2.19.90, updated 11. september

Edit: This issue happens for all internal links in a single-page document, yelp 2.19.90-0ubuntu3.

Thanks for the report. This is a yelp bug, rather than ubuntu-docs - those links appear to be being created automatically, they are not a part of the text of the document.

Confirming and moving to yelp package.

I wonder if this is related to bug 138770?

Open Yelp 2.19.9

'Adding and Removing Software > Installing a single package file' scroll down a bit and you'll see a list of the types of files that seciton of the guide covers. Click on any link and it will take you back to the top instead of to the relevant section.

file://usr/share/gnome/help/add-applications/C/add-applications.xml#install-deb

The links all point to #install-deb, so I'm changing this back to an ubuntu-docs bug.

This is definitely a yelp bug, but if I read the release notes right it is fixed in 2.20.

closing if that's fixed with GNOME 2.20 which is in gutsy, feel free to reopen if you still get the issue though

release in Gutsy is still 2.19.90-0ubuntu3. Marking 'Fix committed' until it actually shows up.

I don't have the ability to change this bug report's settings in Launchpad, but this bug is filed against a very old version of yelp, and this version is currently unsupported.

It was previously-marked fixed-released, and I think it should be re-closed.
