time bar disappear when switching to the right or left on week and day view

On the calendar app there is a time bar to notify the user of the current time of the day on the week and day view. However this time bar disappear after switching 3 or 4 times consecutively on the right or left of the view containing the time bar. When going back to the view which originally contained the time bar this one has disappeared completely you would expect to find the time bar there and updated to the correct time of the day if the app was running in the background.
