Bug Description

Hi,

I had a system crash after an upgrade to 14.10. The problem was in Nvidia driver.
I had to purge all nvidia packages. All are gone successfully except this one - nvidia-prime.
It is most probably already removed, but its service data still remains, and dpkg tries to start/stop/reconfig it before trying to remove/reinstal.

That's all.

Thank you very much for bringing us he great Linux OS like this :)

I have the same issue with 0.6.7, won't configure nor can I remove it.
According to http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2247949 this might have to do with me using `systemd` as `init`. Apparently that's what @paronikyan does too.

I rebooted with `upstart` and now the upgrade works.
