Bug Description

In expert mode, when prompted where to locate the GRUB boot loader, you can set
it to be installed in a floppy (fd0).
The resulting floppy does not boot, only showing "GRUB" and nothing else.

Which CD were you using when you encountered this bug? There was an issue which
caused grub to fail on amd64, which has been fixed in recent milestone releases,
including Array 6:

If you used an earlier release, can you re-test with Array 6?

I was using Array 5. If there's a way to test the bootloader from the CD without
reintalling the whole system, I'll give it a try. I'll start downloading Array 6
to see if it can be done... Perhaps in expert mode?

No reply in 8 months, closing as FIXED since mdz's comment suggests that this
should have been fixed in array-6
