[gutsy] plugin finder service runs forever

Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox

In Gutsy Tribe 5, one of the new features is the Firefox plugin finder. If I tell Firefox to install Adobe Flash Player, it says "Firefox is installing plugins" but it never finishes. I waited an hour. As far as I can tell, the plugin finder did nothing.

I had the same problem with Tribe 5 using the LiveCD.

Haven't tried on a real install. Will try that and will post contents of the error console.

NOte that this is Tribe 4/5 :) ... herd was for feisty.

Anyway, I can reproduce this bug ... we are working on a solution, an
update and fix should follow rather quickly.

exactly the same here on a fresh tribe5 setup.

  * debian/patches/fix_broken_radiobutton_command.patch, debian/patches/series:
    add patch that fixes broken plugin selection - prefetched from ubufox
    development branch.
