Bug Description

1.6+bzr2496-0ubuntu1

I have a node registered with two sata disks and one network card. It happens to be a VM.

I added another NIC to it, and a new IDE disk. I put the serial "123456" on that new disk. Then I selected the node in the maas gui and commissioned it again.

After that is done, the new NIC was detected. I'm not sure about the new disk, as the "disk space" field in the edit node page didn't change.

Both new pieces of hardware do show up in maas's lshw output in the view node page, but the NIC isn't registered.

Attached is a screenshot of the view page with the NICs pointed at. It's a long page, you will have to zoom in. I'm also attaching the raw lshw dumps from that same maas page from before and after.

I think this is because NICs are detected at enlistment time, not commissioning.
