The dkms drivers need to be updated to handle newer kernel versions. Due to the support of HWE kernels we need multiple SRUs:

- Precise needs to handle 3.13 (14.04/Trusty) -> missing patches to handle 3.11 and 3.13
- Trusty needs to handle 3.13 and 3.16 (14.04/Trusty and 14.10/Utopic) -> missing patches to handle 3.13 and 3.15
- Utopic misses the patch to handle 3.15
- Vivid I recently updated to contain the required patches, so we can backport them.

SRU Justification:

Impact: The dahdi-dkms driver modules do not compile currently in any supported release (beside Precise with Precise kernel).

Fix: Backport the versioned updates to the driver from Vivid into the relevant packages. I made separate patches for increasing kernel versions supported. So Precise gets 3.11 and 3.13 support to handle the Trusty HWE kernel. Trusty gets 3.13 and 3.15 support added, as well as Utoic.

Testcase: Install the dahdi-dkms package in any release with the appropriate kernel version and driver modules should successfully compile and get installed.

For clarity I have now installed these versions on Precise, Trusty, and Utopic, in each case the package built correctly for the current version and another non-current version. The package also modprobe'd correctly against each of those kernels without rebuilding further.

This bug was fixed in the package dahdi-linux - 1:2.5.0.1+dfsg-1ubuntu2.2

---------------
dahdi-linux (1:2.5.0.1+dfsg-1ubuntu2.2) precise; urgency=low

  * debian/dkms.conf.in: Expose the target kernel version in a variable that
is actually heeded by the make file. And also pass it in on every
    invokation of make (LP: #790558).
  * debian/patches/kernel-v3-11-compat.patch: Refreshed patch because it
broke building on 3.2 kernel which was missed because of the bug that
caused the build to be always for the running kernel (LP: #1336253).

dahdi-linux (1:2.5.0.1+dfsg-1ubuntu2.1) precise; urgency=low

  * Cherry-picking compat patches to support kernel versions up to 3.13
