Bug Description

On upgrading to akonadi 1.12 in Kubuntu 14.04..

Starting kontact brings up a grayed out background for kmail. Indicating that Akonadi is not running. Pressing the Start button attempts to do an upgrade of the Database. It errors out and stops.

TEST CASE:
From 12.04 with working KMail/Akonadi upgrade to 14.04. Start KMail, on some affected users it will be greyed out saying that there was an error with akonadi. After ugrading to this patched version of akonadi it successfully runs the akonadi update and KMail works again.
