Bug Description
reprepro can generate snapshots of distributions. But the restore of a snapshot does not work.
Steps to reproduce the problem in a clean directory:
1) mkdir conf/
2) cat > conf/distributions << EOF
Codename: testcode
Description: testdesc
Architectures: amd64 source
Components: main
Contents: .gz
EOF
3) reprepro includedeb testcode hello-debhelper
4) reprepro gensnapshot testcode mysnapshot # generates a snapshot under dists/testcode/
5) reprepro includedeb testcode hello-debhelper
6) restore testcode mysnapshot hello-debhelper #should restore the package but nothing happens
The last step should restore the package but that does not work. The fix for that can be found upstream: http://
