widget dissapears after click on desktop

Ubuntu 14.04 LTS
my-weather-indicator 0.6.7-0extras14.04.3 have the same bug.

I do not understand the problem. The widget has two behaviors,
1 -. Top -> top of all windows
2 -. Bottom -> on the desk but underneath all windows. As Conky works

Perhaps a third option is necessary, the widget is floating. I don't know.

What do you think?

This is a new behavior/bug in Ubuntu 14.04 lts.

With "widget on top" UNchecked (attached mwi1.png), as in your example
#2 bottom
widget is displayed on login (attached desktop1.png) as it should be
until a click to the desktop,
widget then disappears (attached desktop2.png),
as if it was below the desktop wallpaper.

I have tried with amd proprietary driver with same results.
I am not sure if this is an ubuntu problem or not as
i am having some weird issues with the primary monitor waking from
suspend also.
this monitor waking problem was cured with the amd proprietary drivers
though.

my system:
AMD A8-5600K APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics × 4
Gallium 0.4 on AMD ARUBA
64 bit ubuntu 14.04 lts
8gb ram
dual monitor, widget on primary
also running cairo-dock on 2nd monitor

I didn't understand what was the problem. If I understood, the widget disappears when you click on desktop, is it?

In this case, I think this is a bug of development I think i made a little mistake, I'll try to fix it as soon as possible

I had the same problem with my-weather-indicator 0.6.7-0extras14.04.3 in Ubuntu 14.04,
However I downgraded to 0.6.5 intended for Ubuntu 13.10 (my-weather-indicator_0.6.5-0extras13.04.2_all.deb) by manually downloading and installing in Ubuntu 14.04. Works perfectly. The widget does not disappear with click.
Temporary solution for now. Waiting for bugfree version.
