The option to run the component showcase gallery doesn't work

qtcreator-
Installed: 3.0.1+14.
Choosing Tools > Ubuntu > Showcase Gallery shows a progress dialog but never launches the gallery.
Running it from the command line works fine.
This regressed quite recently.
