in easytag, updating tags from CDDB doesn't work

Bug Description
Binary package hint: easytag
do a CD database search in Easytag, click "Apply" and nothing happens; your tags don't get rewritten.
I've tried this on quite a few albums, but never with any success. I've made sure that I've selected all the tracks in the middle pane, and that there are the correct number of tracks. Even when the tracks are already numbered it doesn't work. By contrast, I had no trouble filling my tags from the network in Ex Falso.

I have found out what to do now. It's to do with whether or not the Whatsitsteiner algorithm search is enabled. In other words the problem is really about the easytag documentation, which is pretty well non-existent.
