Bug Description

my.cnf as provided in the mysql-common package sets:

#
# * Query Cache Configuration
#
query_cache_limit = 1M
query_cache_size = 16M

percona-cluster-xtradb-common-5.5 depends on mysql-common, however for this mysql alternative, these configuration setting result in a server that won't start (query cache is disabled in active-active HA mysql).

Just a brief comment from upstream:

Turning off query cache is an acceptable resolution. It is off by default from MySQL 5.6+

(The query cache mutex is hot on multi-core systems.)

Adding a pxc specific config file into /etc/mysql/conf.d is an appropriate work-around for this bug.
