The Ubuntu Error Tracker has been receiving reports about a problem regarding unity-control-center. Problem seems to be that u-c-c can't connect to IBus for some reason.

What do you think about manually writing those settings through dconf/GSettings? It seems like IBus defaults to the dconf backend.

Direct writting of the gsettings key works for me.

Aron (just added you to the bug cc to get your opinion on that), can we assume ibus is using gsettings under Unity sessions?
