When selecting text with the mousecursor, last characters of the line are skipped

Bug Description
I have a tendency to select pieces of text that I am interested in with my
mousecursor, and today I noticed that on a paragraph of text, not all the last
characters of the line/sentence get selected all the time. Sometimes they do,
sometimes they don't.
I was browsing slashdot.org at the time.
Someone in #ubuntu mentioned it was the same for him eratticly
Also I noticed that in some fonts or cursive, sometimes a part of the last
letter is being left out of the selected highlight.
Running fully-upgraded hoary.

Hrm, I fixed a possibly related bug in text entry field rendering last week.
Does this problem still occur?
