Bug Description

[In:Percona XtraDB Cluster Documentation]

Please add a note to the my.cnf configuration options to mention that query_cache parameters need to be disabled - this caught me out several times:

# Query Cache is not supported with wsrep
query_cache_size=0
query_cache_type=0

Thanks

@Richard,

Thanks for reporting. The documentation indeed needs to be updated, especially, since now it is possible to enable query cache at runtime for galera.

a)

To quote from https://bugs.launchpad.net/codership-mysql/+bug/1248089/comments/3:

 "To enable query cache, mysqld should be started with query_cache_type=1 and query_cache_size=0 and then query_cache_size should be changed to desired value during runtime."

b)
Also, limitations page needs to be updated.

The 5.6.15-25.3 and 25.4 already support query cache as in #1, so 5.6 documentation needs to be updated.
