Bug Description

Instead of having to delete files like 100 times and make selections etc, emptying the trash should just delete the files.

By "just delete the files" you mean delete the files (found in your Pantheon Photos trash) from your file system?

That's correct. Currently it kicks them to the system trash. That means you have to choose to delete the file several times (I think it's like 8 total clicks) and in two separate apps before it's finally deleted.

Robert, is there any particular reason why your branch hasn't been proposed for merging yet?

@Victor: yes, currently the UI changes are done, but somehow the files are still deleted to trash, strangely GFile.delete sends them to trash, the same as GFile.trash. tom95 suggested on elementary slack to try GFile.unlink, but haven't had the time to do that yet. I'll do it later today, and propose this for merge. Thanks for the heads-up, this was on my todo list.
