What if we just had a toggle for light or dark, and it chose both the GTK and code views?

I do suppose people would want to be able to switch to different themes. Maybe light, dark, or custom?

Maybe adding a radio/combobox for gui theme selection with the following options:
* Auto (Force dark app theme for Dark sourceview themes, normal theme for Light sourceview themes) (This should be the default, fixing this bug, achieving what's requested here)
* Dark (Force dark theme)
* Light (Force light theme)

forcing the dark mode when the user choose a dark theme is the most obvious solution I think.

This is marked as Fix Released, but I am not seeing this behavior in trunk (2.2.1).
