tried to sync with Gnote and it crashed

enable syncing with Gnote and it will crash

Crashes without any traceback
with Segmentation fault (core dumped)

Not only GNote, but synchronizing with Tomboy also crashes GTG with same error -
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

GNote and Tomboy use the same backend, so most probably the problem is same for both.
Bug #1149986 is about Tomboy crash.

No. It's fixed upstream and will land in the next release. If it were fixed in F20, an update would've been pushed.
