Bug Description
Looking at an existing note retrieved from Evernote, it seems that the background color is transparent, where I would have expected it to be white:

Note that upon clicking on the note to edit it, the background is then changed to white

This is the behaviour of all Ubuntu Touch TextFiels and TextAreas. We'd need design input on how to deal with that in this particular case.
