Bug Description

innodb_log_checksum_algorithm does not have any effect when set from my.cnf or mysqld command line. The system variable will have the correct value, and everything (including recovery) will work correctly except that the InnoDB algorithm will be used to calculate log checksums regardless of the variable value.

Changing the algorithm dynamically with SET GLOBAL innodb_log_checksum_algorithm=... does work.
