fields obscured by keyboard in edit mode after closing/opening keyboard

Bug Description

1) edit a contact
2) manually close the keyboard by swiping down
3) scroll view to IM field
4) select the entry field for IM

Expected resutls:
keyboard should become visible and select field should scroll into view

Actual results:
keyboard becomes visible and obscures the selected field
