Bug Description
I noticed this on a running havana deployment:
12 fd = os.open(filename, flags)#012OSError: [Errno 13] Permission denied: '/var/cache/
The /var/cache/swift directory is root:root 0755 so the swift daemons can't write to it.

Accepted swift into saucy-proposed. The package will build now and be available at http:// launchpad. net/ubuntu/ +source/ swift/1. 9.1-0ubuntu3 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.
