Bug Description

To reproduce this I just need a media player registered in the sound menu. I make sure the player is not running, then I click the play button in the indicator to start the player. The result is an ugly "loading" icon enclosed in an orange square.

Please take a look at the screenshots I provided.

  * Drop input-keyboard as it overrides icon in other contexts (e.g.
    settings managers)

  [ Lars Uebernickel ]
  * Sound menu: remove rectangle around play/pause when launching a
player Also set the foreground color for spinners in menus again in
gtk-widgets-radiance.css. That file overrides the color set in gtk-
    widgets.css. (LP: #1231796)

  [ Lars Uebernickel ]
  * idoplaybackmenuitem: set active flag when player is launching The
active flag is used to signal the theme that the spinner should
animate. Using that flag is a bit weird, but it's consistent with
GtkSpinner and thus doesn't require special handling in the theme.

Isn't this bug fixed in latest shimmer-themes 1.7.3 package, which is in Ubuntu 14.04 and later (see LP bug #1298741)?
