Bug Description

When flashing a device and /system isn't mounted getprop isn't available, there is one quick solution for users who aren't aware of the mechanics and it's to manually add a -d [device] but the help message on failure doesn't make that clear.

The other solution (needs a bit more research) for blissfulness is to try and mount /system if not mounted and check for getprop there, although this would lead to inconsistent states where people say they are in recovery and /system doesn't have android or doesn't exist.

  * get error information from phablet-config package installation Since
adb-shell sends the actual stderr via stdout, we were hiding the key
information to a user if a package failed to install. This prints it
    out for them.
  * remove an incorrect logging statement about rebooting the device.
