Selecting 'System > Administration > System Monitor' fails to start the monitor and doesn't invoke apport
Terminal:

I get exactly the same trying to run Inkscape:

Thanks for taking the time to report the bug. I haven't been able to reproduce this bug on Gutsy, could you try to run an apt-get update, and then an upgrade; to see if this resolves the problem. Should it persist, can you please provide a backtrace (https:/
