Mixxx 1.11 on Mac PPC not install

Confirmed by other users at https://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/33059/mixxx.

AFAIK none of the devs even has a PPC machine available anymore, so it was a hit-or-miss release.
If it does not work, then we should not raise expectations and pull the PPC version.

Can you run Mixxx from the terminal? Open Terminal.app,

At the prompt, type:

/Volumes/Mixxx/Mixxx.app/Contents/MacOS/Mixxx

then copy/paste the terminal output here

@Jus: The version Mixx 1.7.2 for PPC systems is running, but has no braodcast build in. I need Mixxx for Internetradio :)

@Ryan: The problem is the Install of app. I can use teh command _after_ install.

direct start from *dmg has follow result:

I believe this is related to an app-store change I made. Our plist specifies minimum-osx-version as 10.6.0 now.

i check it out next Weekend when iam at home.

BTW: Apple OS 10.6.0 is design for Intel base Mac only. The last supported Version for PPC is 10.5.8

two thinks are bad.

1) Mixxx has no Icon at install an after start on the toolbar (button on screen.

2) .. its no playing Songs. After loading the wave is static and the sound at playing sounds "white noice".

Microphone is working well.

i attach a screenshoot from 2 loading mp3 Files .. (Files are ok and playing normal at VLC)

I got confirmation that r3880 no longer fails to start from the user on the forums.

Hi, I just downloaded Mixxx 1.11.0 for PPC from the main page also got the "banned" icon preventing me for running it. I then searched here and found this thread. According to the date this was fixed a year ago. Did someone forget to update the link? ;-)

I'll try the r3880 link in the meantime.

Unfortunately the linked version at mixxx.org is still not working (I can start it, changing plist to 10.5.8, but same static problem as above) and the R3880 Link is dead, too.

Does anybody have a working link or may mail me R3880+?
