Bug Description
Sometimes in texts non ASCII characters are used. Like ellipsis ("…"). Therefore xgettext should be called using --from-code=UTF-8.

Sorry for the extreme delay. The --from-code=UTF-8 is now added to the parameters of the xgettext.
