Bug Description

The patch for bug 1167192 was not working correctly. When the pid file was accessed by some software, PulseAudio got stuck in a 100% CPU loop on one core.

Fix uploaded. If you can't wait, there is a fixed version in ppa:diwic/pulseaudio-testing.

Problem solved after apt-get update

Note that I was obliged to kill the previous pulseaudio:
pulseaudio --kill

I'm using ubuntu 13.04 and pulseaudio (1:3.0-0ubuntu6) and I have this issue.

Same issue here with 14.04.

When skype launches on system startup it makes pulseaudio get stuck in a 100% cpu loop. Restarting Skype helps.
