Bug Description
InnoDB 5.6 uses the server's logging facilities instead of printing to stderr directly. That requires the logger object to be properly initialized and the server initializes it in mysqld.cc.
However, xtrabackup.cc does not initialize it. So all InnoDB error or diagnostic messages are never printed by xtrabackup_56 as a result.
