Bug Description

When I open Friends app, its window is too high, making it go out of the screen. I must use Alt+click to move the window and resize it.

Ubuntu 13.04 upgraded from 12.10. Other applications work fine.

Ok, so I had a chance to play with this today -- all Ubuntu Touch core apps are doing this, not just friends. This means that it's unlikely any code in friends-app is responsible for this behavior.

I suspect this was introduced by the enable_appmenu_support.diff patch added to qtbase5.

I take that back, i dropped the appmenu patch in qtbase5 and the problem persists, so not qtbase5. I tried a bunch of example apps, all the qtbase5 demos work fine, but the qtdeclarative5 examples has this problem. So it also isn't a bug in ubuntu-ui-toolkit. Maybe qtdeclarative5?

After more experimenting it looks like a compiz regression, probably sometime in march. I verified that the bug can't be reproduced with gnome-shell and it can be reproduced with gnome fallback session, with compiz but no unity. There were several fixes in late march related to window decoration related regressions.
