Bug Description

[Impact]

Using Firefox 20 from ppa:mozillateam/firefox-next and up-to-date Raring, the browser doesn't integrate with the desktop. No launcher icons, no messaging menu, no integration popup.

[Test Case]

- open firefox 20,
- go to gmail.google.com (with a properly authenticated profile),
- it should "integrate" (i.e. gmail launcher icon & messaging menu),

[Regression]

None really, since the functionality is already broken in FF20.

Accepted unity-firefox-extension into quantal-proposed. The package will build now and be available at http://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity-firefox-extension/2.4.7-0ubuntu0.1 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.

Please help us by testing this new package. See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for documentation how to enable and use -proposed. Your feedback will aid us getting this update out to other Ubuntu users.

[Test Case]

- Open Firefox 21 (latest version available in Quantal).
- Go to http://ubuntuone.com/3IALQiP43TqOhyQedkATuv (Web Apps Integration Test Suite).
- It should "integrate" (i.e. launcher icon & messaging menu).

Verification done using quantal-proposed (2.4.7-0ubuntu0.1). Everything works as expected.
