Bug Description

gnome-cups-manager, when started from System->System Settings->Printing, refuses
to save details such as paper size after they are modified. This seems to occur
because the program lacks the proper permissions to save the modified settings.
 However, when started with root privileges, the program does modify settings
successfully. Therefore, the solution may be to add 'gksudo ' before the
`gnome-cups-manager` command in the System->System Settings menu.
