Firefox doesn't correctly enabled danish locale .xpi

Bug Description

Following the instructions here:
http://mozilladanmark.dk/index.php?ID=21&lang=da

Which works perfectly on Fedora Core 3, however Hoary's
mozilla-firefox-1.0-2ubuntu3 doesn't enable the danish locale correctly so I'm
stuck with an english interface. As a translator I find this a rather annoying bug.

You're aware of the existence of mozilla-firefox-locale-da; right? does that
work for you?

Didn't exist at the time I filed the bug and the recommended method of using the
xpi didn't work.
