It also displayed that it failed to install the updates a few seconds before crashing.

I just got a crash with the "abort" signal.

I told Adept to update while it was already installing packages. It displayed a message saying that "an error occurred" (no details about what the error was), and then crashed.

I'm also using Kubuntu Feisty.

This crash is already reported in KDE bugs tracker at n° 146687 and also 145233. However, we need more information to fix this.
