RAID 0 support not available in the initrd

Bug Description

The initrd ramdisk/image doesn't contain the necessary modules for
volume/lvolume management, so you cannot boot with the root file system beeing
on such a partition. Rebuilding the initrd with ROOT_ON_EVMS set lets the boot
from an lvol succeed.

mkinitrd should automatically detect this. What do you have in /etc/fstab for
the root filesystem?

Please also try 2.4.1-3ubuntu1 when I finish merging it
