I asked someone on 12.04 vanilla to test this in gnome-control-center and it worked for them so it's something we broke.

We should be able to fix this bug by installing the missing package: gnome-session-canberra
Tested in a VM that this fixes the bug.

Honestly, that bug should be assigned to someone who is working with building the ISO's and not me. Setting the Bug to in Progress by myself was maybe a mistake.
Please assign someone who can solve this bug for real :)
