Border around selected icon text needs some padding

When you hover over a file or folder, you get this blue background behind the text. I think that background should have a bit more padding, as, as you can see in the images above, the text often breaks out of the blue box (on the right side, usually with the letter "s"), which makes it look a bit awkward. I think the text should be completely encapsulated in the blue box. I also think decreasing the border-radius of the blue box would do some good.
