Bug Description

This was intentional behavior in earlier releases because it was difficult to distinguish the battery fill level from the ⚡ symbol in the icon. See bug #824629 for background.

In 12.10's icon set, it's very easy to see the fill level behind the ⚡ icon, so the visual impression is that the power indicator is not showing the right fill level while charging.

It's probably time to drop the #824629 code and just use the battery-XXX-charging icons.

As far as we can tell, the icons haven't actually changed since bug 824629. I think we should continue using the single charging icon unless+until the icons become more distinct.

@mpt: But the fix for that bug is incorrect! The problem is in the ubuntu-mono icons, as you said, and the indicator behaves weidly with the "fix", even when you use another icon set.
