Bug Description

The menu icons for workers that can level up (barbarian blacksmith, brewer, miner, empire miner) contain letters to represent their level: C for Chief and M for Master. Since these letters do not make sense in translations I suggest to change them to roman numerals (I, II, III). This is easy to understand and is a better representation even for the English version.

Great suggestion! Addressing this bug also gives an opportunity to change the color of the level indicator to something that will be visible against a white background.

I have attached a graphic containing new designs for the brewer, master-brewer, blacksmith, master-blacksmith, miner, chief-miner, and master-miner.
Comments are welcome.

I propose using the existing (plain) worker icon for the trades/tribes that have but one level. For example, the Atlantian miner has only one level, so it should use a plain icon to denote it as the only level for that worker.

Exactly what I imagined :) I also think it is the best idea to keep the plain image if there is only one rank.

I like the new pics a lot. They are much clearer. The only thing missing
is a max level indicator (so I can see that my level 1 worker can get up
to level 3). Maybe we can steal from the soldier level indicators
somehow?

I'll play with the concept of displaying the maximum level, and gray out the higher numerals for the lower level positions. Stay tuned.

In the attached graphic, you will find two different approaches for the max indicator.
"NUMERALS" - depict a Roman "I" for each level available. When a worker attains a level, that "I" is shown in red, otherwise it is gray.
"DIAMONDS" - depict a graphic indicator for each level available. When a worker attains a level, that graphic is shown in red, otherwise it is gray.

Personally, I prefer the "diamonds" as I think they are easier to distinguish.

Comments please.

Please disregard the icons with the single Roman I. They are an artifact from my first examples. :)
