Bug Description
This is to track the mysqld-debug provided here http://
1) However, it looks like the binary is named mysqld itself. It would be better to provide UNIV_DEBUG binary as mysqld-debug.
2) Also, the binaries provided are not stripped. As a result, our release binaries in debian are quite big =~ 42 MB instead of 12 MB or so. It would be better to strip them and provide mysqld.debug separately (in a different package or same package) (Can file separate bug for this if required.)

There is already a separate bug lp:711062 for #2 in the description -- to provide separate debuginfo packages, it can be merged into this if required.
