Not fixed - actually this seems to affect other icon themes like tango and tangerine so it's probably a GNOME bug or something, I have absolutely no idea what package to assign it to.

The bug is with all the icons set, see the attachment and here: http://forum.ubuntu-it.org/index.php?topic=76098.0

I digged in the source and it turned out to be a libeel problem. The "empty Trash" dialog (which doesn't use libee) shows how it's supposed to look like.
I'm going to investigate this further, since it might be something I can fix.

Not an eel2 bug, it happens with gedit

I can confirm it happens with gedit too; the icon is blurry, it happens with all icon sets (and doesn't help for a clean distro feeling :-p).

So, if someone's trying to isolate this, it DOES happen:
-in gedit
-in nautilus, when emptying trash

However, it DOES NOT happen:
-when right clicking on the trash applet on the panel and clicking 'empty trash'. Odd.

This upload fixes the bug:

 launchpad-integration (0.1.13) feisty; urgency=low

   * pixmaps/lpi-bug.png:
     - add our own icon, this breaks theme-ability, but fixes the
       'warning icon looks pixelated' bug - might be a GTK bug (LP: #103974)
   * lib/launchpad-integration.c, lib/lpint-bonobo.c:
     - use the icon.
   * lib/launchpad-integration.h:
     - prototype launchpad_integration_add_item_factory(), fixes build
       warnings.
   * debian/control.in:
     - bump debhelper requirement to 5.
   * debian/copyright:
     - update FSF address.

Actually it doesn't even seem to break theme-ability here, awesome.

what Daniel meant is likely than lpi-bug is not themed yet

Adding gtk-icon-sizes = "gtk-dialog=48,48" to the gtkrc resolved the problem for me.

Leonardo, the launchpad-integration update didn't work on your computer?

Yes it does. I was changing my desktop theme, had observed the bug gone but completely forgot the launchpad-integration update...
